Jeanne Thompson Beckmann

Jeanne Thompson Beckmann - age 72, went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2012 in Goodyear, AZ. Born and raised in the city of Chicago, she was graduated from the Carl Schurz High School. Her strong faith, dedication and persistance allowed her to survive a terminal cancer diagnosis for 20 years. Jeanne's professional careers involved corporate administration and insurance brokerage sales. She was previously married to the late John Flack of Campus Crusade for Christ Evangelist. Together they pastored three churches and served and lived for Jesus on the mission fields in South Africa where daily miracles were prevalent in their ministry and their lives. Jeanne's previous residences were Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Albuquerque and Phoenix. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Raymond, a retired Illinois teacher; devoted children, Barrett (Margaret) and Kenneth Racz, John Flack and Shara; and an adored granddaughter, Trinity. Jeanne was unwavering in her walk and commitment to faith, family and adversity. She was emotionally strong and tough as well as kind, gentle and compassionate. Her voice, touch and presence will be sorely missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend 10:00 AM Funeral Services at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Interment will follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
