Jeffrey Jerome Cadle, 73, a resident of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on July 19, 2026. Born on July 30, 1952, in Buffalo, NY, Jeffrey’s life was one deeply beloved and truly cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
From his beginnings in Buffalo, Jeffrey carried forward a steady dedication to building a life grounded in love and connection. He remained friends with his classmates from his Catholic Elementary School to the day he died. He completed two years of college but began a career to provide for his family instead of completing his education, as his father did before him.
Jeffrey Jeff was an introspective man with a gruff exterior which belied the kind and loving teddy bear inside. This was evidenced by his taking in family members whenever needed including an 18-month niece for four years; three nephews for six months and finally raising four of five grandchildren.
Jeffrey retired from Honeywell in Buffalo to come to Arizona and care for his parents; closing a meaningful chapter marked by commitment and perseverance. His work life stood as one more way he provided, contributed, and earned the respect of those around him, another reason he was so valued and held close by family and friends at Ashland Oil, Allied Signal and Honeywell.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth del Valle Cadle, his high school sweetheart, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Robert; his daughters, Jaclyn and Kennedy (Ryan) Baldwin; and his grandchildren, Antoine Simpson, Deandre Powell, Scarlett Vandermeer, Andrea Powell, and Dominique Powell; his sister, Jennifer Harris; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Cadle and Dianne Blackmon. He is survived as well by four generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are his cherished in-laws, or as he called them, his family from another mother: Lucy (Jerry) Jaromin, Michael del Valle; Jose (Trish) del Valle; Alberto del Valle; David del Valle; Gloria (John) Roetzer; George (Paula) del Valle and Margarita (Donny) Racine.
Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents, Clement and Loretta Cadle; his sister, Jacqueline Cadle; and his brothers, Kevin Cadle and Eric Cadle. Also predeceased by his in-laws, Alberto and Maria del Valle; Carmen Maria, Anthony, Angel, Carmen, and William del Valle and his special sisters-in-law Georgia and Loretta del Valle.
Jeffrey also played basketball for many years with his brothers-in-law and loved football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. His family is also grateful that he survived to see his beloved New York Knicks win the NBA Championship after a 53 year drought.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of the Valley and staff for a smooth transition to Jeffrey's end-of-life experience. Their patience and kindness went above and beyond the call of duty, especially Alex.
