

Jeng Wang was born in Guanyin, Taiwan on October 15, 1950 to the late You Mei Liao Ku (mother) & Chien-Ying Ku (father). Jeng Wang was the second eldest of five children and the oldest son. He would marry Bao-Yu Hwang on January 8, 1978.
Jeng Wang immigrated to the United States in September 1981 in pursuit of the American dream. He initially landed in Utah, but found it was too cold for his taste and went south to Phoenix, Arizona where he attended Arizona State University, receiving bachelor’s and master's degrees in engineering. He raised his family in Mesa and would reside in the same home for 43-years. Jeng Wang worked at Motorola for the majority of his career, but was also employed by IDT and ST Microelectronics, retiring in 2008. Jeng Wang was someone who loved to learn, fix things and read financial news.
Jeng Wang is survived by his wife Bao-Yu Ku, his daughter Chi-Fan (Jennifer) Hockings (spouse William), his son Sung-Ching (Tony) Ku (spouse Lindsay), six grandchildren Sarah, Amanda, Matthew, Emily Hockings, Declan and Delaney Ku.
A celebration of life for Jeng Wang will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, followed by a graveside service from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
