

TSgt Jerry Edward Jones born December 20, 1935 was accompanied to his heavenly home on November 17, 2025 by his wife, Beatrice Marie Jones, his parents; Alton Sr. and Mattie, brothers; Jack Billy, Larry, and Ronnie and his granddaughter Abigail and great-grandson Kaito. Jerry is survived by his siblings Jack, Billy, Larry, Ronnie, Gloria and Charles Neel, Cathy and Jim Basler, Pam and David Jimerson Sonny and Roma Jones, Steve and Linda Jones. He is also survived by his children Patty Hohn, Bob and Rita Jones, Betty and Rodney Bessett, Peggy and Mike Carper, Norma and Bobby Sr. Harvey, and Mike and Lisa Jones; Grandchildren; Jerry Hohn, Jena Veck, James Wiley IV, Barnaby Jones, Gerri Ann and Jason Khalaf, Christopher and Annie Hohn, Bobby Harvey Jr., Julianna Forman, Sarah Harvey, Brian (Luna) Carper, Noah Harvey, Madiline Jones and Pierce Jones; Great-grandchildren; Veronica Miranda, Jessica Martinez, Anna Bell, Colton Wilkes, Jerry Hohn Jr., Jason Khalaf Jr., Brandon Jones, Floyd Hohn, Justin Jones, Ryan Wiley, Robin Wiley, Elizabeth Hohn, Cory Scott, Halim Khalaf, Haliey, Kylie Jones, Rachel Hohn, Samantha Hohn, Faithlynn Harvey, and Katelynn Harvey, William Hohn; Great-Great-Grandchildren; Isabel, Aiden, Emeli, Andrew, Athena, Samuel, Mason, Kallie and Mavis.
Jerry was born and raised in Georgia with his parents and 10 siblings until he joined the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in Phoenix, Arizona he met and married his wife, Beatrice. They were married until Beatrice passed in 2016, over 61 years later. After being stationed in a variety of places he retired in Phoenix where he lived until his passing.
Jerry and Beatrice had 5 children and still had more love to give so they adopted one grandson and opened their door help raise another. Throughout the years they opened their doors to any family or friends that needed help.
After 21 years he retired from the Air Force, he worked in air conditioning and heating, even having his own business for a while. He then went on to manage his and Beatrice’s apartments full time before he retired in 2016.
Jerry had many hobbies in his life. Jerry was a scuba diving instructor while stationed in Okinawa. In the Philippines he discovered darts which he played days before he passed. There are many awards for his dart matches and motorcycle racing. Jerry enjoyed taking and developing photos both in a darkroom or on his computer.
Jerry was fun to be with and liked by almost everyone. He is loved and missed.
A committal service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024, United States. The service is scheduled for December 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
