Jimmie was survived by his wife, Lola Matheus, of 63 years, his daughters Carrie Dawn Schnapps and Teresa Jean Masterson, his grandchildren Levi Schnapp, Dillon Schnapp, Lacey Chavira, Shelby Hulsey, his great-grandchildren PJ Schnapp, Ezequiel Chavira, Cristiano Chavira, Xavier Chavira, and Dalton Schnapp. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents WC and Opal Matheus, his brother Doug Matheus, his sisters Laquata Estes, Juanette Petefish, Rita Meindle and his grandson Todd Masterson.
A Visitation for Jimmie will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A Celebration of Life will take place the next day on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valley of the Sun, followed by a Graveside service at 2:00 PM.
