Joel Paul Fisher 1986-2021, age 34 went home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 16, 2021. Joel was born on September 29, 1986 to George Harrison Fisher and Linda Maxine Mancini in Boswell, Pennsylvania. Though he resided in Chandler, Arizona Joel reminded others of his birthplace by showcasing his love of his favorite football team the Pittsburg Steelers.
Joel grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He attended and graduated from North Star High School in Boswell, Pennsylvania. Joel was very active. He played football and soccer. Joel knew the value of education so decided early on that he would pursue a higher education. Joel attended and graduated from the "CALU" in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Joel was a goal setter and achiever. He knew that half-stepping would not get him where he wanted to be professionally, so he later continued his education attending the University a Phoenix and receiving a Masters Degree in Business Management. Joel’s education helped him land a great job as a Team Lead with ISSA Solutions. His bubbly personality and love for people made him an exemplary salesman.
Joel was full of love and he was a great listener. He was a great motivator and a protector. His ability to love started with his mother. Joel worked really hard to make sure she was well taken care of. Joel was an amazing man who could light up any room with his joyous spirit and infectious smile. It was his winning smile that attracted Ms. Kindra Earl to him in 2016. While Joel’s stature made him look intimidating, he was nothing short of a gentle giant, big teddy bear, or what Kindra referred to him as “Brucky Bruck.” Kindra welcomed Joel as a friend but had reservations about anything more serious, after all she had two young girls that she had to consider. Joel once again, being the goal getter he was did not give up. Joel being the loving man and provider that he was immediately bonded with Kindra, Janiyah, and Justyce and he welcomed the role of being a bonus dad. While Joel had no biological children of his own, it was evident by the way he cared for Justyce and Janiyah that he had all of the characteristics that a good dad should possess.
Joel enjoyed life and took full advantage of all the wonderful things that life has to offer. During his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, doing heavy weight lifting, and watching MMA fighting. He was well aware of all of the blessings that had been bestowed upon him and he refused to take any of them for granted. He himself stated he was stronger and more amazing than he ever thought he could be. He further explained that the cards God and life had placed before him were building blocks for a greater future.
