John Smyros passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025 at Mercy Gilbert Hospital. He was 87 years of age, born on July 11, 1937 in Leonidio, Greece.
He was highly regarded in his community, a successful restaurant and business owner. He will be greatly missed by his surviving wife Jean, his eldest son George, his daughter Sandy her husband Ken and granddaughters Gabby and Gracie, his youngest son Jim, wife Jill and grandson John-Ty.
A funeral mass for John will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 2716 N Dobson Road, Chandler, Arizona 85224. His graveside service will follow afterwards at 12:30 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
