He was born in Brockton, MA on March 17th, 1946, and graduated from Brockton High School, where he played on the baseball and basketball teams.
He was the beloved husband of Paula (Vergnani) Camara for 53 years, the loving father to Adam Camara and Whitney Kapler, and the cherished, proud and loving grandfather to Ayla, Mia and Michael.
Jordan worked at Polaroid for over 30 years until he moved to Arizona, where he worked at the casinos for over 10 years. He served his country honorably in the US Air Force and loved bowling, baseball, billiards, card games and golf (making 2 hole-in-ones).
Above all, he loved spending time with his family, which was always the most important thing in life to Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, Paula, his children, Adam and Whitney, his son-in-law, Chad, his daughter-in-law, Melissa, his grandchildren, Ayla, Mia and Michael, and his two sisters, Maureen and Carol.
He was an amazing and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend, who always made those around him feel comfortable. Jordan was a great storyteller and a natural at making people laugh.
Words can’t describe just how much he will be missed.
