Joseph John Kropsch III, 81, of Chandler, AZ died July 9th 2018 of heart failure. He was born on Nov. 13, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph John Kropsch II and Goldie Marie Kropsch (nee Bess). He graduated from McKinley High School in Chicago. He was an insurance agent and avid golfer. He was a trustee in Villa Park, IL. In his twenties, he did stand-up comedy using the stage name Joey Summer. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter- Lynn, wife- Janet and sister- Gloria Kohs. Surviving family members include: brother Theodore (Helen), three nieces; sons- Joseph and Michael; daughters- Therese Wright (Chuck), Karen Foote (Rich) and Kristine Ybarra (Michael); grandchildren- Bryan and Danielle Wright, McKenna and Rachel Foote, Samantha, Jenna, Taylor and Hayden Ybarra, Heather and Ian Knorr; and three great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A Memorial Celebration will be held in the fall at Sunbird Community Center.
