Joe was born June 29, 1946, to John & Ann (Nelson) Lazzara in Chicago, IL. He graduated Lane Tech High School in 1968 and enlisted in the Army. He served from ’68-’71 and was stationed in Korea from ’69-’70. Joe married the love of his life Donna (Dautel) Lazzara July 11, 1970 and they moved to St. Charles, IL to go on and raise two daughters Jennifer (Lazzara) Trifari & Jessica (Lazzara) Patterson. He worked, for the next 27years, at Fermilab in Batavia, IL. Joe enjoyed golfing, Trap/Skeet shooting & Radio control airplanes. He loved his family with his whole heart and will be dearly missed.
Joe is survived by his wife Donna of almost 50 years, his 2 daughters Jennifer (Ronald) Trifari of Scottsdale, AZ, Jessica (Joseph) Patterson of Scottsdale, and 4 grandchildren, Joseph & Vincent Trifari and Jillian & Jack Patterson.
