Joe was born on January 7, 1939 in San Francisco, California to Helen and Andy Parker. He graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1957 and served in the United States Army from 1962-1964.
On December 19, 1964 Joe married Sandy Johnson in Hollywood, California.
Joe worked in the motion picture industry for David Wolper Productions, Walt Disney Studios, MGM and Universal Studios. He was a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, Motion Picture Editors Guild Local 776, and the American Federation of Musicians Local 47.
Joe had a passion for music, art and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 58 years Sandy, his children Andrea (Pete) Goodman, Steve Parker, grandchildren Kyle and Grace and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial will be held at a later date at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California.
