I just now heard about Joy Wrights passing. I wanted to express my appreciation to Joy for the encouraging words she gave me in 1985 when my wife and I moved to Rockwall to become a part of the leadership at Church on The Rock. Thank you Joy! We'll meet again!

Joy was a friend, sometimes near, sometimes from a distance.
We met at the Ohio Youth Camp in our teens, she was a little older and in those years it made a big difference.  It was a few years later that we became real friends in Lancaster Ohio.  We practiced our cooking skills on each other.  I tried playing the organ like Joy (never worked).  We even were expecting our first babies at the same time.(that worked)!! Time and years would pass as we both went in different directions, but we could pick right back up. We truly admired Joy.  Less than two years ago we and the Burd’s did a road trip to NY to see Joy & Roger. She fixed a wonderful dinner for all of us and it was just like a family reunion!  I’m so thankful for that trip.  We were bonded again in love and continued until her passing.  Jim and I called Joy FRIEND.  Love & Blessings to the Wright-Farley families.

Joy was an incredible, amazing lady who touched the hearts and lives of countless people.  Her influence will never be fully known this side of heaven.   She was a visionary who always had a positive attitude which was contagious to all around her.  Her crowning achievement is the family she leaves behind - two outstanding men along with their families.  

Her passing leaves a gigantic hole in our hearts and lives.  We fondly remember decades of close friendship and fun times.  It was always a "Joy" to have her near.   No one will ever replace her.  RiP, Joy Bells.
