Juanita Ann Benson

She married Duane E. Benson on June 9, 1952 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Juanita had many jobs and ran a couple of her own businesses including post-construction cleaning for home builders. Juanita also worked in daycare and was a certified Nurses Aid and Teachers Assistant. She had a great passion for Christmas, everything purple, cake decorating, and enjoyed decorative painting.

Juanita is preceded in passing by her husband, Duane. She is survived by her children: Barry Benson (Sharon Benson), Anne Willey (Michael Willey), and Kris Benson (Nanette Benson); Grandchildren: Kaitlin Winters, Logan Benson, Jonah Benson, Nicole Benson, Brandon Wakefield, Catrina Wakefield, Michael Willey, Danielle Willey, Jennifer Geis, Jeffrey Pratt, Charlie Benson, Maron Yun, Andrew Benson, Claire Neubauer, Anna Benson, David Benson; Great grandchildren: Aubrey Benson, Noah Wakefield, Evelyn Audsmore, Jeremy Wakefield, Dyllan Wakefield, Malik Doctor, Nathan Willey, Ian Waugaman, Chloe Waugaman, Mila Yun, Luella Neubauer; and Siblings: Christine Hafner, William Sean Hafner, and Brian Hafner.

A visitation for Juanita will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. Her funeral mass will occur the following day: Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3201 S Evergreen Road, Tempe, Arizona 85282. Afterwards, Juanita's graveside and committal service will be held back at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
