

Judith A. Lyman of Chandler, AZ, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026. Judy was the daughter of the late Thelma Miller and Claire Measel. She was born on May 5, 1947 in Elwood City, PA and graduated from Corry High School in 1965.
Judy is survived by her Husband, Gailen Lyman, her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Eloisa Taylor, step grandsons Marc and Aaron Burgueno, step great grandson, Forrest, twin sister Janet Ahl, Bonnie Belman and Norma Willey along with several nieces and nephews.
Judy worked at Corry Jamestown after graduating from high school until she took a job with Evans National Bank in Forestville, NY where she stayed until 1985. She continued her career working with the City of Phoenix until her retirement.
Judy moved from Forestville, NY in 1985 and relocated to Sun Lakes, AZ with her husband at the time, William “Bill” Farnham (Passed away 5/28/16) where she learned to play golf, scrapbooking and taught scrapbooking classes on Sunday at the Oakwood Community center where she lived to the locals that lived in the development. She also loved to cook, collect owls and was active in her church, Epiphany Lutheran.
Funeral services for Judy will be on Aug 19th at 10 am, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 800 W. Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225 with Pastor Mark Rossington officiating. Following the service, there will be a gravesite ceremony at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd Chandler, AZ 85248 at 11:30 am.
