June Delores Clark, 100, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away on October 22, 2026. Born on June 22, 1926, June lived a long life marked by steady devotion to those she loved and a spirit that brought warmth to the everyday moments shared with family and friends.
June was born in Soldier, Iowa, to Herman and Hilda Hanson.
In her working years, June was employed as a clerk at Philco Corp in Palo Alto, California, where she approached her responsibilities with the same care and consideration that defined so much of her life.
On December 30, 1944, June married Everett J. “Bud” Clark, and they remained devoted to one another until Bud’s passing on May 11, 2020. Together, June and Bud built a life shaped by companionship and loyalty—doing everything side by side, from traveling to enjoying time on the golf course.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, and by her son, Terry Clark, who passed in 1993.
Those who knew June will remember a compassionate heart and a generous nature—qualities that showed themselves not in grand displays, but in the quiet ways she made others feel cared for and included. Her humor was never far away, and it often appeared in the simple pleasures she enjoyed most.
June had many beautiful dogs throughout her life, and she held them close as cherished companions. She is survived by her most recent doggie, Lucy.
June also delighted in the movies, especially those featuring Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone—never failing to note, with her characteristic wit, just how handsome he was. Another favorite was *Pretty Woman*. And among all her pastimes, nothing quite compared to her greatest favorite: shopping.
June will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
