She was married for 57 years to Paul S Ypsilanti who preceded her in
death. She and her husband were founding members of St Katherine
Greek Orthodox Church, Chandler AZ. She was born in New York City in
1921. Katherine is survived by 3 sons, William of Tempe AZ, Chris of Key
Largo FL and Alexander of Bronxville NY, a sister, Victoria, of Plymouth
Maine, and 8 grandchildren: Alethea, Trina, Natasha, Daniel, Sara,
Evan, Eric and Zoie. Viewing and a Trisagion service will take place
at 6PM on Monday Dec 20 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM at St Katherine GOC, 2716 N. Dobson Road, Chandler on
Tuesday Dec 21. Interment will follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
The family asks for donations in lieu of flowers to Hospice of the
Valley or St Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
