Kelly Patrick Lynch sadly left this earth to join his heavenly family on August 26, 2020. Kelly was born on December 18, 1970 & was the youngest of 7. He is survived by his siblings, Renee (Gary) Keltner, Barbara (Stephen) McMurray, Gregory (Katherine) Lynch, Michael (Peggy) Lynch, Lisa (Mark) Weides & Nancy (Scott) Mentzer. Kelly is also survived by his nieces & nephews, who he loved very much.
Kelly graduated from New Haven High School, New Haven, Indiana in 1989. He then completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance from St. Joseph, Rensselaer, Indiana in 1993. Kelly started his career in accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a tax staff, he then moved to Crowe Horwath LLP, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana as a tax manager from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, he decided to move to Arizona and landed his job at Henry & Horne, LLP as a tax manager and worked his remaining 18 years there. His work associates at Henry & Horne befriended him & welcomed him not only at work, but socially. He met most of his Arizona friends through his employment there and enjoyed his close relationship with so many of them through the years.
Kelly loved sports, he played center for his high school football team, New Haven Bulldogs. The football team won the sectional title in his senior year, which he was very proud. He continued his love for all sports as the years passed by, especially Notre Dame football & IU men’s basketball. Kelly was always tuned in for athletic events & loved to discuss with family & friends.
Kelly also became a trivia buff, playing on a team who competed & won several times as the Trivia Champions.
Kelly had a great love for classic rock music, he loved listening to various artists with family and friends.
We will all miss his great smile, easy going disposition & great sense of humor. We will always carry our love for him & miss him at our family gatherings, but he will be with us in spirit. We love you Kelly!
Please join us Friday, September 4th, from 4pm-7pm (with services and Facebook Live steaming at 6pm AZMT) for a celebration of Kelly's life.
