Kenneth Vance Noble III, known affectionately as Ken, born to Ken Jr and Dorothy Noble, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 1, 1957, in the rugged beauty of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Ken carried a lifelong reverence for the natural world that he shared freely with all who knew him. He was a longtime resident of Chandler, Arizona.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada Reno, a foundation that fueled his deep curiosity about the world. Directly out of college he helped a friend start a company called Maxell Hybrids. He loved working in the Biology field so much that this influenced his choice of hobbies in his later years. The majority of his career was spent working at State Farm in the home claims division. His dedication to learning allowed him to end his career in a middle management position. He always said that middle management was the front line.
On August 8, 1981, Ken married the love of his life, Cynthia Louise Noble (Cindy), in Lamoille, Nevada. Their partnership was built on a foundation of mutual support and a shared devotion to family, creating a loving home that became the centerpiece of his life.
Ken’s spirit was defined by the pursuit of quiet beauty and playful connection. A passionate and patient photographer, his travels were dedicated to capturing the beauty of birds, dogs, and flowers through his lens. This same dedication fueled his love for bird watching and hunting, activities that spoke to his love of the outdoors. He would often talk of his adventures hunting throughout the Nevada wilderness to anyone that would listen.
At home, Ken was a constant source of joy, sharing his enthusiasm for music and connecting across generations by gaming with his children and eight beloved grandchildren. He was the quiet anchor of the family, always accompanied by his cherished Labrador dogs, who were as much family as they were companions.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Louise Noble (Cindy); his devoted sons, Joshua V. Noble and Kenneth Noble IV; his daughter in laws Valerie and Gabrielle ; his treasured grandchildren, Joshua D. Noble, Joseph Noble, Jeremy Noble, Julia Noble, Kenneth Noble V, Eleanor Noble, Juliette Noble, and Isaac Noble. He is also survived by his sister, Sue Hungate, and his mother, Dorothy Noble.
Ken’s legacy is not just one of a long career, but of a quiet, profound love for his family, the wild places of the world, and the simple joy of a dog's unconditional devotion. He taught us to look closer, listen longer, and value the moments we have. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share a trail, conversation, or keyboard with him.
