Kenneth graduated from high school and completed one year of college. He dedicated his career to serving as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Shari Marie Eichman, and her husband, Allan Michael Eichman. He was a loving grandfather to Brianna Marie Eichman, Katelyn Rae Eichman, and Allison Rae Eichman. Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Linda Marie Taylor. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Virginia Ann Sondheimer, his son, Joseph Patrick Sondheimer, and his parents, Joseph and Mary Sondheimer.
He was an active member of the Italian Club and enjoyed a variety of pastimes including trivia, cards, gold, coin collecting, caring for his granddaughters, pool volleyball, and college football.
The family extends their gratitude to Chandler Regional Medical Center and the Solara Community for their support and care.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church in Chandler, AZ, on Friday, December 19th at 10:00 am.
