The family left Laos in 1981 and lived in the refugee camps in Thailand, and then in the Philippines for 4 years, before she and her family went to Pocatello, Idaho. They lived there until they relocated to Maricopa, AZ 2 years ago to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Kim passed away from a heart attack quickly and peaceful on 5/1/2022 after fighting Multiple System Atrophy for 8 years. She lived a wonderful life, she loved to cook and feed people. She was loved by her family, friends and many others.
She is survived by her husband, Sean Thannao; 4 children, Douan Cordova, Souan, Le, and Noi Thannao; 9 grandchildren; and raised her cousin’s 3 children.
