Kimberly A. Abersold

Kimberly Ann Abersold (Hunsicker) passed away on July 19, 2022. Kimberly was a loving wife (Robert), mother (Jonathan, Michael, Allison), grandmother (Colton), special mom to (Chandler the dog and Isabelle the cat), sibling (Rhonda, Richard, Gary, David), aunt, and friend to many. Her parents were Harold and Sonia Hunsicker. She was born on November 13, 1959 in Ravenna, Ohio. She lived throughout Ohio until moving to her forever home in Chandler, Arizona.

Kimberly studied at Lakeland Community College, Kent State University and other speciality schools. Her passion for helping others and radiating energy led to various successful careers where she demonstrated her strong finance, accounting, and tax skills. Kim also had the opportunity to work selling used cars where she was equally successful. She often commented how much fun it was to meet customers and sell cars.

She loved family time, her pets, attending all of her children’s events, and exploring the Wild West. Pool time was special for Kimberly where she enjoyed loading all of her pets on a big raft then floating and appreciating the day. Her hobbies included shopping, reading, fishing, bike riding, watching General Hospital and sporting events. She also enjoyed driving Robert’s different muscle cars over the years.

Kimberly always felt blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life. Her calm, kind and loving presence will be with us forever.

Please join us for Kimberly Ann Abersold’s Celebration of Life Service. It will be held on Friday, July 29 at 9:30am at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 23914 S Alma School Rd Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 (Live stream service details to follow). A gathering will follow the celebration at 11:00am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd Chandler, AZ 85248.
