Kim was born in Chicago, IL 4/14/1955 to Michael and Josephyne ( Powell) Hack. Kim grew up in Chicago, eventually moving to California, then Arizona. She attended Steinmetz HS and Wright College in Chicago. She retired after working many years as an accountant/ HR Director.
A lifelong Cubs fan, attending a 2016 playoff game in which the Cubs won was a thrill.
Kim enjoyed going to casinos and was able to play the slot machines ( and win) 2 weeks before she died. Kim especially loved Christmas and went all out in decorating, planning meals and events, and hand picked presents; she wanted to be sure everyone was included and had an unforgettable time.
A few of Kim’s other likes included R&B/Motown music ( A Jeffrey Osborne performance was not to be missed!), and the NY Yankees ( Roy White was Kim’s 1st love.)
Kim will be remembered for her unending generosity, her way of making people feel important, and especially for her love of family. She was always the life of the party and had a certain flair for fashion; she was considered by all who knew her as “ colorful”. Kim is survived by her siblings, Jodi A Hack, Michael J Hack, Joseph A Hack, sisters in law , Alice Hack and Patricia Hack, niece, Jessica L Hack , nephews, Lucas M Hack and Joseph N Hack, and great nephew, Pete Bustamante. Kim was preceded in death by her parents. Forever remembered in our hearts with LOVE.
