I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Kristen in middle school and have so many great memories of our times together. This is such a shock - she was way too young.

Bob, we are shocked and very sad to learn of Kristen’s passing.  She always had a wave, smile and friendly hello for her “old” neighbors across the street.  We were lucky to experience her cooking talents.  She will be missed by many.  Prayers to you and your family.

I had the pleasure of working w/ Kristen (or KB as I always called her) for 5+ years. She was a force to be reckoned with, quick as a whip, hilarious, and really warm once you got to know her. It feels profoundly unfair that she died this young, but by all accounts that I’ve been privy to, she lived a full and joyous life. I am thankful to have known her as a rock solid and dependable colleague and as a friend. Wishing Bob and family the strength to get through this knowing that she touched a lot of lives and will continue to be loved by many for years to come. RIP KB. 

I am a former colleague and a forever friend of Kristen's. I remember meeting her when hired at Black & Veatch in September 2015, and thinking "this is going to be fun"! I was honored to work with her for about 2-1/2 years, but blessed to hang with her personally until her passing. At work we laughed, cried, pulled our hair out, ate a lot of candy, and even learned a few things as we plowed through every proposal effort ... always hoping for a win! Fun times included lunches, dinners, drinks, me singing LOUDLY in the movie theater to Bohemian Rhapsody and her wonderful hospitality at home ... especially pre-Easter Brunch! I love you, Miss Kristen, and the world is less bright without your smile and a dose of sarcasm. God speed, my friend, and may Bob and your family and friends take comfort in the time they had with you.

Being Kris’s friend has been such a privilege and it hurts knowing that I won't get to spend another day with her.  My love and condolences go out to all of her family and friends as we  will miss that mischievous smile and big heart of hers!  You will forever be in my heart and memories!😘

Kris had a gift for saving others, lost souls, be they human or animal.
I hope she carries that wonderful gift into her next world.  It is one of the things that gave her great comfort and joy.  For us, who remain, we will sadly miss that great spirit she had. God speed, Kris.

I knew Kris for a short time. My husband and I moved from Seattle and landed next to her and her husband Bob we have had a great relationship and a lot of fun in the pool and outside of the pool. We shared Thanksgiving together she was an amazing woman. Super strong and super sassy. We miss her.
