R.I.P Landon. It was fun working with you at the Hyatt Regency Scotsdale Security Department. I liked your stories of the "old days" on the Tempe PD. My thoughts go out to your family.

I am sorry I didn't have the chance to tell Landon how much I appreciated him as my St. Joseph's Hospital X-Ray Supervisor when I tested his great patience as a Student and then friend. He had a great and caring capacity for sorting out chaos and confusion, while steadily getting the job done. What the world needs is more Landons.

Landon was one of the kindest and helpful people I worked with. I just knew that I could count on him to remain calm, to maintain command presence and have answers. You were around for a major part of my career. You will be missed

Working quiet midnights as a young Officer I would sometimes worry that my radio wasn't turned up loud enough so I kept turning up the volume. Then, Landon would come on in his clear, loud, confident voice and make me jump out of my seat! He was a genuinely nice man who had great pride in his work and family. I appreciated all the support he gave us and always felt safe under his watch. Goodnight Sir.

I was saddened to hear of Landon's passing. He and I worked together when I began my career with the City in the Police Department. Landon was a man of integrity who loved his family and the work he did. He wore many hats while with the PD, and stood by his convictions, always doing what was best for the Police Department and the citizens we served. Landon will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

RIP Landon, you will always be remembered as the voice of calm when you dispatched. It meant a lot to me as a young officer trying to find his way.
