Shepherd, Lena Fay, 97, passed away. She was the 6th of 7 children born to Wilbur & Minnie Shepherd & went to be with all of them & our Lord 11-17-2015. She is survived by nieces, Sue Shepherd & Cheryl Torgersen, nephews David Shepherd & Timothy Shepherd & many great & great great nieces & nephews who all loved her so much. She & sister, Mildred moved to AZ 29 yrs. ago from Avilla, IN to be near the nieces & nephews. She worked as a sales associate in housewares at Wolf & Dessauer in Fort Wayne, IN for 30 years. Her favorite hobby was crochet. She volunteered much of her time at church & was a devout Christian. Visitation 1:15 PM, Services 2PM Sat. 11-21, Valley of the Sun Memorial Park 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler. Flowers will be accepted, however donations can be made to Wycliffe Translators and Reflections Hospice at 1840 E University Dr, Mesa, AZ 85203.
