

Lenora Jane Snook, 76 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on June 27, 2011. Lenora was born September 25, 1934 in Hillrose, Colorado to John and Frieda (Kissler) George. Lenora wed Ron Snook in Greeley, Colorado. Shortly after moved to Arizona where she became a full time house wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crossword puzzles, reading books, sewing for her kids, cooking, Christmas time, George Jones, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She loved her kids they were her world. She was a beautiful person. She had great love in her heart for her family. We will miss her dearly. Lenora is survived by her Husband Ron Snook of Mesa, two daughters, Sheryl and husband John Norman of Tempe, Pam and husband Ed Brookshire of Peoria; Sisters Elenore Vogel of Colorado, Shirley and husband Vern Vogel of Colorado, three grandchildren Kim Leonard of Washington, Ashley Brookshire of Peoria, Nick Brookshire of Peoria, great grandchildren Jacki Leonard of New Mexico, Stephanie Leonard of New Mexico and Ryan Leonard of Washington, great great grandchildren Isaiah Leonard of New Mexico, Isaac Leonard of New Mexico, nieces, nephews and many friends. Lenora is preceded in death by her parents John and Frieda (Kissler) George, her daughter Kathryn Ruth, Sister Clara Croissant and her three brothers Elmer, Harry and Robert George. Services will be held at 8 a.m. July 4th at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chapel at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248.
