Lenore Marie Young

On April 24, 1946 she married the love of her life, Arthur Young, who preceded her in death. They spent 74 years together and together they raised 7 children. If you count their grandchildren and great grandchildren, their family numbers more than 200.

In 1969, Lee, Art and there family moved to Boyne City, Michigan where they purchased and operated the Young’s Dilworth Hotel for many years. Lee also worked for Honeywell International Inc. in Boyne City before retiring to Arizona in 1990. Lee was a devote Catholic, Christian, always smiling, and putting her family first. Lee enjoyed bowling, golfing, and crocheting sweaters for all the new grandchildren.

Lenore is survived by her children Collette (Dana) Kolasinski of Sun Lakes, AZ, Deborah (Richard) Ferris of Boyne City, MI, Chip (Linda) Young of Chandler, AZ, Yvonne (Dennis) Looze of East Jordan, MI, Edward (Mija) Young of Chandler, AZ, and Ross (Lisa) Young of Overgaard, AZ. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur and oldest daughter Patricia Waun.
