Linda graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 1971, and received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Holy Names College in Oakland CA in 1975, a Master of Science in Library Science from University of Southern Cal. in 1976, and Master of Liberal Arts from University of Southern Cal. in 1983
Linda worked at the University of Southern California as a Librarian from 1967 until 1982. She then continued her career at the California Department of Fish & Game as a librarian from 1982 until 1985. After she moved to Arizona, Linda worked at the Arizona Department of Education librarian II from 1985 until retirement in 2021.
She belonged to many professional memberships including the American Association of School Librarians, Arizona State Library Association, and the Arizona Online User Group.
Linda had a passion for reading, puzzle books and spending time with family.
She is survived by Nancy Edgington-Giordano, sister; Michael Edgington, brother; several nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by Carol Martin, sister; and Jean and Charles Edgington, parents.
