Linda Rettberg

Linda was born in Mississippi, moving to Lawndale, California as a little girl. She was the oldest of four children to her parents Walker and Rosie. As the oldest child she often helped in the care of her two brothers, Buddy and Bill and sister, Lynnie. She has said they didn’t have a lot of money, but they had a lot of love. In high school her family moved to Lakewood, California, where Mom graduated from Artesia High School.

Just days after graduation she began her adventure into adulthood. In the following years she bought her first home while working as a restaurant manager until she had her children, Michelle and Michael. Over the years the inside of the home was expanded and the outside landscaping transformed into something amazing. It made her happy to take care of the house and one year she was honored with a Beautiful Home Award by the city of Lakewood. She later moved to Santa Ana, Aliso Viejo and then Chandler, Arizona adding her touch to each home making it beautiful and perfect.

After Michael was born, Linda started working at Gillette in the sales department and later at AMP also in sales. She left AMP to learn Purchasing and became a Buyer at SR Engineering. After leaving SR Engineering she was a Buyer at Mallinckrodt and after moving to Arizona she became a Buyer at ArmorWorks. At each of these companies she met people who would become lifelong friends.
