Lou Miloni was a positive role model to so many of the students he coached over the years at WHS. A great man that was an inspiration to me on and off the mat. My condolences to Shaunessy, the family and Lou's many friends.

My deepest sympathy at the loss of your husband & father. Louie & I were cousins & grew up on Hickory Street in Omaha. With his athleticism it was always fun to say that we were related. All the neighborhood kids spent many a late night playing hide & seek in our front yard & watching TV at our house. I will always remember Louie with a smile on my face. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him, Oh Lord.

Louie was a very influential man in my life. He was my supervisor when a student teacher at Westside HS, Omaha in 1971 and as a mentor when I was the wrestling coach at Elkhorn, NE in the 1970's. I was lucky to have known him. May God Rest his soul. Jim Sweeney UNO

I am sorry to hear about Louie. I worked with him from 1971 until his retirement at Westside HS in Omaha NE. He was respected by staff and students alike. His wrestlers loved him as well as his regular students. My sincere condolences to the entire Miloni family. Jim Findley
