He was born December 11, 1931 in Greenburg, Indiana to Hazel Ayres Woodward and Arthur Woodward.
Louis served proudly in the United States Army. He then worked for IBM as an Engineer. In his later days, Louis enjoyed tennis, golf and playing board games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Velma Joyce Woodward, his son Stephen Woodward (Jeanette), and his daughters Brenda Popp (Tim), Bonnie Bell (David), Sandra Hancock, Donna Thorpe (Dan), and Nancy Idema, as well as seventeen grandkids, thirty five great-grandkids, and one great-great-grandkid. He was preceded in death by his first spouse Velma Lucille Woodward, his mother and father, as well as four brothers and one sister.
Services for Louis will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 9am - 11am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
