Luana Mae Senske

Luana is survived by her husband of nearly 68 years, Roger; their two children, Sherri (Steven) Hawkes and James Senske; two granddaughters, Julie (Matthew) Stewart and Rebecca (Derek) Rammer; and five great-grandchildren: Keagan, Brighton, Rhys, Chloe, and Kinley.

Luana and Roger became active members of Hope Lutheran Church after moving to West Seattle in 1958. Luana taught kindergarten at the church's school for 18 years before retiring. While teaching, she completed her K-8 teaching degree at Seattle Pacific College. After moving from Seattle to Chandler, Arizona, to be closer to family, Luana and Roger became active members of Risen Savior Lutheran Church, where they have worshiped for the past 10 years. Family was always at the center of their lives, making the move to Arizona an easy and joyful decision.

Luana's love of music was a lifelong passion. She played both the piano and the organ, and performed in the high school band. She also enjoyed attending concerts and musicals. Now she is singing in heaven, praising her Lord and Savior.

Luana's warm hugs, kind heart, and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
