Marilyn Jean Hoover, 77, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on February 14, 2013. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 31, 1935. Marilyn married Roy D. Hoover on January 12, 1962. She had a career in Mall Management in Topeka, Kansas. She was also a member of Topeka Kansas Fire Dept. Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and she had a passion for ceramics, scrapbooking and painting. Marilyn is survived by her partner, Hugh Stevenson, and brothers, Rob and Don Crooker. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2013 at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, Arizona.
