Marjorie Ann Stephenson

Marge Stephenson passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 27, 2020.
Born Marjorie Ann Meyers, on February 9, 1927, in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Albert and Elizabeth (Henne) Meyers. After high school, she moved to California to work for the U.S. Army during WWII. She met her future husband, Bob, on a blind date. They were married after the war ended, eventually relocating to Ogden, Utah.
She was active in The Order of the Eastern Star, The Shriner Organization - El Kalah Temple, and Sun Lakes United Methodist Church. Marge retired from the Internal Revenue Service, ultimately moving to Chandler, AZ. She enjoyed playing bridge and card games, golf, traveling the world, and spending time with her 7 siblings and family.
Marge is survived by her brother, Don Meyers of Omaha, NE, sister-in-law Shirley Meyers of Quartzhill, CA, along with her 4 children. Nancy Eilander (Ron), Rick Stephenson(Anita), Linda Stephenson and Sandra Smith.
Additionally she is survived by 12 grandchildren, Alexa, Andrea, Angie, Austin, Blayre, Brandi, Brett, Cody, Ian, Jennifer, Kelly and Marshall, and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Valley of the Sun Memorial.
