Mark T. Saveline

Mark obtained his bachelor’s degree in Seattle, Washington, laying a foundation for a life shaped by discipline, purpose, and a steady commitment to learning and responsibility.

He served as a lieutenant in the Navy for 7.5 years, a chapter marked by duty and dedication. In later years, Mark continued a life connected to the skies as an Airline Pilot, bringing professionalism and calm focus to work that demanded both precision and trust.

Mark was a very honorable man and will be missed dearly by those close to his heart. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was married to Judy Saveline for 55 years, and together for 56 years. He is survived by his spouse, Judy Saveline; his daughters, Pamela, and Aimee; and his son, Chad. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Karsen, Camden, Dresden, Brooklyn, and Tanner, and his great grandchild, Cassie.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, Helvi and Hanala, his daughter Camay, and his sisters, Jasmine and Margo.

In his personal life, Mark remained very active and found enjoyment in reading, jogging, handball, and walking. He also enjoyed skiing and was a fisherman in Alaska. He also loved flying and traveling—interests that reflected an enduring appreciation for movement, discovery, and the wider world.
