Clarkin, Mary C. (Kay)—88 of Chandler, AZ., passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Kay was born in rural St. Paul to Ray and Beatrice (Beachner) George. Beatrice passed away when Kay was three years old. Kay was later raised by Ray and Frances (Brogan) George. Kay retired from Providence Hospital, Waco, TX., after being a medical transcriptionist for thirty years. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Clarkin; a son Steve Clarkin; a brother Norbert (Bob) George. Kay is survived by a brother, Jack George, Miami, OK., a sister, Betty (George) Weninger, Chandler, AZ. The service will be at St. Steven’s Catholic Church, Chandler, AZ. A graveside service will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Wichita, KS. Arrangements entrusted to Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery.
