Cheryl,
I was so very saddened to learn of Mike's passing. It was my very good fortune to have been able to work with Mike for almost twelve years, and in those twelve years we shared many a story and many laughs. No matter what was going on, if Mike was in our area (Security) he would always stop by my cube or desk to say "Hi" and we'd exchange stories or a joke or two. He is going to be greatly missed by so many people because he touched so many lives and in such a positive way.
I pray your happy thoughts and fun and intimate memories to celebrate Mike's life, ease somehow the sorrow of losing him.
Cheryl, please know that your friends share in your grief and hold you close to our hearts especially at this time. Please reach out to me if you ever need anything.
In Sympathy.

A curious thing happened to us while driving to go snow skiing in Utah.Just outside of Salt Lake City we ran into a raging snow storm. It continued for a couple hours. Just as we were exiting the freeway on to a state road the storm quit.Centered in front of the car was a huge mountain.Clouds parted in the overcast sky and the sun shone directly upon the peak. After 30 minutes
of this I finally turned to my wife and said "This is like a postcard. It's almost as if a light from heaven is illuminating the mountain top." A couple hours later we arrived at our destination.I checked my cell and there was a message.A follow up call revealed Mike had passed at the same time we saw the mountain.Call me crazy but I think it was a sign. A sign that everything is going to be okay; A sign that Mike is all right.
God bless you Mike.

I hired Mike at Intel 30 years ago and worked with him for many years. Mike crewed on my sailboat and I intoduced him to Cheryl. We sailed in Mexico and had many many great times. I will always remember him as a great friend a wonderful parent and faithful individual. We are all better for having Mike in our lives.

Dear Cheryl, Nicole, and A.J.,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and have my deepest sympathy. My earliest memory of meeting and talking with your father, Nicole and A.J., was when he came with your mother for your first conference in fifth grade, Nicole. He always came to both of your conferences. I so admired the way in which both your parents took such an interest in your educations. What a devoted and loving family, one to truly be admired. Mike, Cheryl, Nicole, and A.J., you are all in my heart and thoughts.
