Milia Chiaburu

She is survived by her brothers; Marcel and Teofil Miron, daughter Mirela Baron and son, Liviu Chiaburu; and three grandchildren, Dragos, Alexandra, and Nicholas. Milia is preceded in death by her husband, Gheorghe Chiaburu; mother, Elena Miron; father, Petru, Miron; and sister, Maricica Savin.

Milia and Gheorghe were married nearly 40 years and in that time they built a marriage and partnership that rivaled any fairy tale. They were a true love story and it showed in the growth of their beautiful family. Milia dedicated her life to building a loving and peaceful home for her family. Her kindness radiated from her and she gave her generosity to all she met. Milia’s presence in the lives of those around her will live on long after those who remember her are gone. To many she became a mother figure, caring for them and supporting them throughout their lives. Her strength was beyond measure. And her sense of humor flooded through her interactions with friends and family.

Visitation will be held October 7, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, Chandler, Arizona in the Mausoleum Chapel.

Funeral Services will begin October 8, 2017 at St John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, Glendale, Arizona; followed by a Graveside Service at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, Chandler, Arizona at 3:30 p.m.
