

Milton Unruh, 81, of Jamestown, ND entered his eternal home on February 4, 2014, in Phoenix, AZ. Milt was born on May 27, 1932 to Charles D. and Marie Unruh in Munich, ND. He graduated from Starkweather High School in 1950. While in high school, Milt excelled in football and basketball.
Milt worked in Chicago, IL for 2 years before returning to North Dakota. He and Darlene Hoffman were united in marriage on October 2, 1959. Milt worked at the ND State Hospital and Holand's Service Station. In 1963, Milt began working for Frederick's Inc. He was employed there until the business was sold. At that time, Milt went to work for R.M. Stoudt, Inc. where he worked until retirement. Milt was later self-employed in the lawn care service.
Milt enjoyed reading, listening to music, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his granddaughters.
Milt is survived by his wife of 54 years, Darlene of Jamestown, son and daughter-in-law Randy and Susan Unruh of Phoenix, AZ, daughter and son-in-law Marlene and Todd Langbehn of Jamestown, granddaughters Elisabeth and Alissa Langbehn of Jamestown. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Charles and Joyce Unruh of Shipshewana, IN, and sisters Viola Fast of Albuquerque, NM, Frieda Baldwin of Finley, ND, and Martha Fenton of Kilgore, TX. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Caroline Unruh and Thelma Harder and several brothers -in -law.
A family service was held in Sun Lakes, AZ. A memorial service and burial will be held in Jamestown, ND at a later date.
