Mindy Jean Armour, born June 21, 1975, of Chandler, Arizona, previously from Morton Grove, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023. She is survived by her parents, Jean and John Armour, and her sons Cody and Jake Slutzky. A graduate of Niles West High School and Miami of Ohio University, she served as a teacher at both Grayslake High School in Grayslake, Illinois and Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois. Mindy taught physical education and was the director of the Orchesis Dance Company. Her skills and talent in dance and choreography were well known. She excelled in both of these areas and her contributions will long be remembered.
There will be a memorial visitation at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove, IL 60053 on Saturday, June 15th from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ann and Robert H.
