Myrtle was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 7, 1942 to Alma Boyd and Lonnie Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as a tax advisor for H&R Block 32 years before retiring. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, Grandmother/Great-Grandmother and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Myrtle is survived by her loving husband, Charles Boone, and her children, Sherri R Ervin, Michael K Boone(Debra), Karen L Boone, Randy L Boone(LaDonna), and Ronda M Chism(Dwayne), alternate son(nephew)Patrick Charles Boone,13 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren(with one expected) and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.
A visitation for Myrtle will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A funeral service will follow directly at noon, with a reception to be held at Valley of the Sun immediately after the service.
