Nadine Adele McLaren, 84, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020, while surrounded by those she loved.

Nadine was born in Maywood, California, to Robert and Maggie Raulston. She was a nurturing and loving woman, dedicated to her family, friends, and Christ.

Her interests included praising God, singing about God, tropical island vacations, and racing her Corvette well below the posted speed limit. Above all, she cherished her role as wife of 64 years to Robert.

Nadine's angelic voice brought light to the church choirs and weddings where she sang. Her passion for Gospel music began at the St. Paul Church of Los Angeles where she’d sneak away to listen to the Echoes of Eden Choir. Nadine was also an accomplished baker and florist who brought love and joy to everyone she encountered.

Nadine is survived by her husband Robert, sister Lela and brother-in-law Pete, daughter Victoria, her grandchildren Thomas, Travis, and Brittny, and Travis’ wife and children, Semiramies, Travis Jr., and Stella Ana. She fiercely loved them all.

Nadine was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wayne McLaren. Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 24th, at 11:00 a.m. Service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery: 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler AZ, 85248.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

I always enjoyed your fun-loving spirit and your zest for life. You always made it a joy to be around you, Nadine. Save us all a spot in that heavenly choir.

The Hug...I will miss many a thing about Aunt Nadine..her wild and crazy stories of her antics, her kind and gentle soul, but most of all...I will miss the hug. Aunt Nadine hugs with her whole heart. How such a tiny women could hug so tight is beyond imagination, but you could feel her love with every hug. Love you Aunt Nadine. Until we can hug again. Michelle

Nadine had a caring heart. She loved her family both near and far. She loved her Texas roots. The last time we spoke, she was looking forward to coming to the next Raulston Family Reunion. She gave the best hugs! I will miss her.

Lela, your family was my family as a young girl. Nadine was 10 years older than us but was always sweet to me. She is so deserving of those loving arms of Jesus as He holds her . Love and prayers for you and the entire family that loved her.

I have many memories of my sister, Nadine....she loved her husband, her children and grandchildren, and the Lord. Nothing brought her more joy than singing gospel music. She had a great soprano voice and was often asked to sing at friends' weddings as well as specials at church. Our joy was to sing after Thanksgiving dinner with many family members at Gary and Patty Kumpe's ranch. Nadine loved to travel. Bob and Nadine were blessed to go to the Holy Land, Fiji, Hawaii, Bonaire, and many other locations. She loved her dogs and they obviously loved her. Her life was blessed. Now may she spend eternity in her very own "Mansion Just Over The Hilltop"....I will miss that smile......until we meet again....save me some room on the piano bench!
