

Nancy Catherine Snyder-Sombrio, a beautiful Christian lady was taken to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Chandler Arizona.
She was born in Washington DC on December 4, 1942. Her family moved to Akron, Ohio and then to Phoenix Arizona in 1947.
Nancy attended Redemption Church in Gilbert, Arizona. She was associated with the Ocotillo Woman's League for several years as secretary and was also involved in the Service League, collecting clothes food and other charity items for the less fortunate in the Chandler area. She especially loved to make blankets for kids and other items for children. She gained respect as an administrative assistant at Motorola, KLA and other companies in the computer industry. Her most important attribute was being a loving friend to all who knew her with a heart for contributing to the lives of others. She loved to travel and enjoyed several motorcycle trips around the country with family and friends. She was fearless!
She leads the way for the following members: Husband, Jack R. Sombrio, step-daughters and step-sons Julie Sombrio-Bublitz (Ken), Robert F. Snyder (Linda), Jack S. Sombrio (Kathy) all in the Phoenix area. Colleen Brown (Jim), Murray Sombrio, in addition to other Sombrio members in the Akron area. 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, mother Dorothy (Dot) and father Russell Staats and her husband Robert B. Snyder. She had no children of her own but loved to be with children.
Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11 AM at Redemption Church located at 1820 West Elliot Rd., Gilbert, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Nancy C. Snyder-Sombrio to Redemption Church.
