Paul G. Gorski

Paul G. Gorski - age 89, passed away peacefully at home in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by members of his family on Friday, December 20, 2013. A long-time resident of Phoenix (Ahwatukee), Paul was born November 25, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Paul and Elizabeth (Gilbert) Gorski. After completing high school, Paul enlisted in the U. S. Navy. It was during this time that he happened to visit a dance ballroom, while stationed in Detroit, Michigan, and met the young woman who would soon become his loving wife of 69 years. After working as Corporate Personnel Director for ITT, Automotive Division for many years, he and Regina retired to Arizona.

Paul is survived by his wife, Regina; their children, Paul P. (Lynn), Peter (Donna), Michael and daughter, Pamela (Bill) Burrows; their grandchildren, Sonya Rissmiller, Paul C. Gorski, Julie Marburger, Ellie Gorski, Ashley Brooklyn, Lindsay Baumann, Kyle Gorski, Anthony Phillips, Nate Phillips; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Ian Gorski. Paul is also survived by his siblings, Charles (Elaine), Bert Kaprowski, Bill Gorski and Libby (Jim) Boldt.

Family and friends are invited to attend 11:00 AM Memorial Services on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248, with a lunch reception celebrating Paul’s life to immediately follow at the home of Peter & Donna Gorski. Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 preferred.
