Raymond Ralph Gibbs

Raymond Ralph Gibbs (Peewee), 91, of Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 at home. Ray was born on Jan 31,1934 in White Cloud, KS. to Edmund J. and Viola E. Gibbs. Ray was one of 11 siblings, 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Raymond is survived by his three sons and their wives: Michael & DeeDee, Steven & Melanie and Timothy & Lisa. Six Grandchildren; David & Michel, Natasha &

Candace and Amanda & Jennifer. Eight Great Grandchildren; Landon & Chelsea, Aurora & Louise, Nicholas & Mackenzie and Owen & Avery. He has one surviving brother Gordon (Corky) Gibbs. Ray was preceded in death by his loving wife Jackie in 2018.

Raymond graduated from Horton High School in 1952. He immediately joined the Air Force and was Honorably discharged as a Technical Sergeant (TGST) in 1973 after 20 years of service. He continued his aviation career as an Overhaul Technician/Mechanical Engineer for Garrett/Allied Signal (Honeywell) retiring in 1993 after 20 years of service.

Memorial Service to be held on: Saturday April 12, 2025 at 10 am at Valley Of The Sun Memorial Park, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. Internment to be held immediately following the memorial service (family only, please).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Sage Hospice in honor of their loved one.
