He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and a Friend to so many.
Rick was born in Detroit Michigan and worked at Detroit Diesel while raising his amazing family in Dearborn Michigan. Rick owned a local neighborhood bar in Detroit called “Chick’s” and at this bar Rick and his wife Sandy gained so many lifelong friends and fond memories. Rick moved to Arizona where he became a local favorite and gained more friends here as well.
Many remember Rick as a character; full of life, energy, wittiness and a passionate sports fan and a “GO BLUE” guy. He was known to many as Rick, Ricky G, Papa, Pop’s, Mr. G, Uncle Rick, the “Gummy Worm Guy”, and some others. Although he had many names, everyone knew him as a “Friend”.
Rick did many things in his life, but what he was most proud of was being a husband, father and grandfather. “Ricky G” will live forever in our hearts and we are all so thankful for his memories, jokes, kindness, friendship and teaching us how life should be lived.
He is survived by his brother Joe (Wife Nancy), his son Ricky (Wife Stacy) and son Randy, his daughter Renee (Husband Rick), his grandson Cameron and his granddaughters Kylie, Cassie and Brooke.
He is proceeded in death by his amazing wife Sandy, his brother Jim and sister Christine.
