Richard Allen Kovach

Richard worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a Mechanical Contractor; later in life, he became an Insurance Broker, bringing steady dedication and professionalism to his work. Beyond his career, he was known for a spirit of adventure that found its happiest expression outdoors—camping and boating—and for the deep joy he took in family time, where his love was felt in countless everyday moments.

Richard was married to Sara L. Kovach for 27 years, a bond marked by devotion and the kind of steadfast care that makes a home. He was cherished by those who knew him, and his presence will be dearly missed.

Richard is survived by his spouse, Sara Kovach; daughters, Kathryn Cantrell (Justin) and Jennifer Reilly (Ian); step daughter, Paisley Moore (Taman); step son, Beau Moore; sisters, Janet Hicks (Bob), Mary Hayes, and Kim Mento; brother, John Kovach Jr. (Janet); and a myriad of beloved nephews and nieces.

Richard was predeceased by parents, John J Kovach Sr. and Sarah Louise Kovach, and brother in law, Frank Mento.

Richard’s faith and community were important to him, and he was a part of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
