Born in Scottsdale, AZ, Riley lived most of his life in Chandler, and was a Senior at Chandler High school. Riley was active in the music program, singing in both the Men’s choir and Choral. He had a deep love for music especially playing the guitar. He was a self-taught guitarist who would sit and play for hours either alone or with others. Aside from music, his favorite activity was hanging out with friends at a local coffee shop, where he could be found almost every day. Riley loved meeting new people and touched many lives. He enjoyed deep discussions about philosophy, religion and politics. He was distinguished by his long hair and constant smile. He had a warm welcome for everyone he met, and always took the time to make others feel special.
Riley is survived by his mother, Djuana Reed Peterson, his father, Greg Peterson, Brother Braden and Sister Bria. He also is survived by his Grandfather Charles Reed and a large number of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
