Rita Moon

Born in Lynn, MA in 1946, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Dorothy (Tirabassi) Aliano. She was educated at Bishop Fenwick Catholic High School in Peabody, MA where she graduated in 1965 with top honors. She went on to attend Salem State College where she achieved her Masters degree graduating summa cum laude.

She was the founder of three businesses, one of which is Laser Edge Technology, in Merrimac, MA.

She loved animals, gardening, and boating on lake Sebago in Maine.

She is survived by her husband, Lane, her brother Giusseppe Aliano, her daughter, Julie (Moon) Kenney and husband, Sean of Northborough, MA, her son James Moon and wife, Beth of San Tan Valley, AZ, and one granddaughter, Allison Kenney, of Northborough, MA.

Services will be held at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ on Saturday, August 11th, at 9:00 AM.
