Robert Kenneth Adamovic, 49, passed away on Friday February 26, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. Rob was born in Sunnyvale, California on April 24, 1971 to Charles (Chuck) Adamovic and Marilyn Jo (MJ) Savee. Moving a few times in his youth, their family settled in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, Rob joined the Army and he was based in Kentucky. He attended Western Kentucky University and moved to Nashville after college. A job promotion brought him back to Chicago, which is where we met and were married.
Looking to escape the Chicago winters, we decided to move to Arizona where we have happily lived in Chandler for the past 17 years. Here, we were busy raising our three great kids, Jacob, 11, and our twins Luke and Mia, 7. You could always find us hanging out by our pool at home or exploring the wilderness at our cabin in Pine. Rob took great pride in coaching soccer and football for our kids’ teams. He was an amazing dad. He loved to fix things, build things, cook and watch sports (Go Bears).
Rob is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Jacob and Luke, daughter Mia, brother Charles Adamovic, sisters Jeanne Ortega and Kathy Beltran, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents, Charles and Marilyn, preceded him in death.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate the life of a wonderful husband, father, son and brother. Rob was taken from us too soon and leaves a hole in the world that cannot be filled. He brightened our lives and he will be missed by many. Thank you for helping us carry on his memory today and always.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on Sunday April 18, 2021. If you are unable to attend, the celebration will also be streamed on Facebook Live. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Rob’s memory to the Humane Society of Central Arizona: https://humanesocietycentralaz.networkforgood.com/ or a charity of your choice.
